How to read columns and rows of data in excel from ASP
Hi, I need to migrate data from excel into my database. I am using ASP to perform this. I have tried to convert the excel in to a fix length space delimited .txt file however the .txt file is not as I want because the data is very long and it is automatically truncated to another line although i have unchecked the word wrap settings.
Therefore i am trying another way to read directly from excell, each row with different columns. How do I do this? Anyone can help me with some sample codes and technique?
Help is very much appreciated.

is it a one time entry which u want to have from excel to databse then it is better to use import/export method in the enterprise manager. and this method is very simple also, right click on particular database click on import, select the source specify the delimiter and specify the destination.
