need to calculate number of hours

hi

this is for an overtime calculator for a specific department. The user enters the departure date and time for a user say, 10 feb 2003 14:00 hrs. The user is out office for a few days and comes back on 13 feb 2003 20:30 hrs. Now, for the days, 11th and 12th, he is assumed to be working 24 hours.

I need to calculate the number of hours worked on each day i.e 10,11,12,13 once the user enters the arrival date and time of the user.

for 10th, the no. of hrs worked will be 24-14 = 10 hrs
for 11th and 12th, the no. of hrs worked will be 24 hrs
for 13th the no. of hrs worked will be 24-20.30 = 20.30 hrs

i need some help in asp as to how this can be done
