COnfirmation Page and Confirmation EMail

Okay, one more step for the rent a car client. After the client reserves a car, right now he is sent to a generic thank you page.

My client wants the thank you page populated with all the information about the rental. Some of the info is generic, but most of it will include items like the customer's name, the car he reserved -- basically everything on the "order form".

In addition he wants a reservation confirmation number that appears on the page. The confirmation number should be in this format LAX123456 Everything a reservation is made the number should be increased by one. We can start with LAX10000. No need to keep a formal record of the numbers on the server, except to serve as a counter to incriment the number system.

The email that goes out should have basically the exact same information as the confirmation page.

Feel free to go to the airac.com web site and make a test reservation to see how the process goes. But use the name TEST for the first name and TEST for the last name.

Next I will post the current ASP code for this page, which is called "step5.asp"
