VBScript and Acrobat 7.0

I have a web application running and we use this code in VBScript to detect acrobat and create an object.  This works for versions of Acrobat 2 - 6.  For some reason, Adobe changed their OCX name for version 7.  Here is the code being used:

   If Not(IsObject(CreateObject("PDF.PdfCtrl." & i))) Then
   Else
       hasPDFSupport = true
       i=8
   End If
Next

What I'm asking is if anyone knows the OCX name for Adobe Acrobat 7.0.  Alternatively I saw an article where the writer said that you could use VBScript to query the xclasses and get a list of OCX's with their name.  However, the author didn't include further detail.  Either answer will be fine.

You can find them in Regedit pretty easily. Just open the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT. Then peruse the (admittedly long) list of classes. For instance, I quickly found the PDF.PdfCtrl.5 and PDF.PdfCtrl.6 classes in mine. Usually the name you need for CreateObject is discernable from examining this list.

I didn't even know there WAS an Acrobat 7....now I guess I have something to play with this weekend. =)

I had checked that and found AcroPDF.PDF.1 and am trying that, but it doesn't seem to be working.  I'm going to try a reboot and a restart of my webserver and check it out.  FYI, Acrobat 7 is about 50x faster than 6 to load.

Ok.  The detection code is now working.  I just can't get it to print, but that is more of a javascript questions and will be presented there.
