ASP VBSCRIPT ALTERNATING ROW COLORS

Hello.  I am using ASP VBSCRIPT (not .NET) and need some assistance with alternating row colors.  Could someone, please, help me?  It doesn't really matter what colors... I'm just not sure how to do it.  It doesn't even have to be 2 colors... maybe just a different color for every other row; but it may be useful to see how to code for 2 colors, as well, though.

Here is my code for the <TR> "Repeat Region".

You can put what ever color you want...

You write your <td> code only once.

Or with even less code, us two CSS classes - .row0 and .row1

then in your loop have a counter (called i here)

i = i + 1
response.write("<tr class=""row"& i mod 2 &""">")


This will write out alternating TRs of

So, if I use the "CSS" method, and I only want to use one color to alternate every other row, would I just use 1 CSS class?  I want to just leave the background color for every other row and just implement the 1 color (gray) for every other line.

You can use both classes - that way if you want to make a change in the future it's easy. Leave one blank.
