Googlebot Conspiracy?

Googlebot following me...

While developing a high traffic ASP site, I see that Googlebot follows me to pages...pages that are brand new, and pages that are older, and even pages disallowed in robots.txt. I see this because if there is an error in the code I get emails sent to me, and Googlebot will throw the same error a couple seconds after I do when testing new code....like it is following me. The pages are less than 1 minute old, but already Googlebot is crawling them? That seems very strange, and I tend to believe that some cookie (of sorts, or something) is in my browser and Googlebot is following me to every page I visit on the the internet. I can only confirm Googlebot is following me on my particular website, because I have the logs, but I can only assume Googlebot is following me everywhere.

I don't believe this is for indexing purposes, but rather monitoring internet users...because I'm sure this is happening to everyone, but they don't know....I only know it because I have the logs and error messages.

Thoughts? Perhaps Google is partnering with government <conspiracy theory><grin>....
