@gamebits
Im not going to fight with you, the person asked a question and failed to clarify... if he came back and said... If I use mulitple body tags, will my page validate... then yes, the OliWarner would be correct...
But its asked in ASP, so what about this...
if test = 1 then
response.write "<body onload=""thisClick()"">"
elseif test = 2 then
resposne.write "<body onload=""thatClick()"">"
end if
Now I have MULTIPLE BODY TAGS!
@B_Dorsey
No fight here just an open minded discussion I agree with you he asked the question in the ASP area but the question itself refer to HTML ("How to use multiple body tag in HTML") and I actually suggest the same thing you did in my first answer but using php, I can have multiple body tag in a php script but only one would be used at a time depending on some condition.
I look at everything, this is a 500 point question, there must have been more behind the question besides a "you are not allowed" ... why post it in ASP... My opinion is that the question did not get explained well.... everyone gave the correct answer... "not recommended .." , "never heard of multiple body tag.", "wouldnt advise" .. what makes their answer different... another possibility is that there are frames on the page... now you have A PAGE with MULTIPLE BODY TAGS...
Im jsut saying the question is left "open - ended" and since the questioneer abandonded and left it, but had the opportunity then it should be deleted and points not refunded.... the question is useless to have on EE ... its not answered correctly (or should I say .. completly) so to me its a useless question/answer, and a waste of internet ;)
yes, its a page that generates this to happen....
All I am saying is that its a open-ended question, the asker did not follow up, and to me is a useless question/answer to have as a reference on Experts Exchange.... if its about the points, give whoever the heck they want to give points, Im saying delete the question, its a waste of space and incomplete, and serves as non-knowledgeable, as it never was completed.
