Hi, I am a web developer and use IIS5.1 on my Windows XP Pro to test my pages.
I have downloaded IE7 and able to test on that fine.
I downloaded a standalone version of IE6 but when i try to view a page at http://localhost it asked me for a Username and Password but when i don't enter a correct one i get the error:

Yes this is what it should be doing, if you enter an incorrect username and password, then access should be forbidden.

But i shouldn;t be getting a request for a username and password.  Why am i getting it? I don't get it when using IE7 or Firefox.  Just the standalone version of IE6
