Unspecified error

Hi All.

Suddenly, every single database on my site is throwing the "unspecified error".  I've tried every connection string to an Access database that I can with no help.  I've even rebuilt and renamed the databases.....still no luck.

What would be causing this and more importantly, how can I fix it???????

As you changed the connections did you ever get a different error?  Make sure that you comment out or remove any "On Error Resume Next" lines in that script.  Also, if using IE, turn off friendly HTTP errors (Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced tab -> uncheck "Use Friendly HTTP error messages").

Did you update Access or anything else like that on the server?

HI.

Changing the connection string did not change the results.

I just "rent" space on the server, so I don't do the updates.....but anything is possible.....impossible to get an answer from tech support though.

Anyway....it's been broken for 3 weeks and suddenly this morning it's back online.  Must have been a server update.
