- The Number of Experts Contributing
- The Feedback of the Community
Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. I have web application which has few .asp and few .net pages together. I am using oracle 9i as DB and msdaora as provider to connect to DB from asp pages and ODP.net from asp.net pages.
MY .net pages are connecting oracle 9i fine. But asp pages are giving problems. Same code base works perfectly on colleague's machine.
I gave iusr and iwam accounts access on oracle folder. checked registy checked version of mdac installed on my machine (MDAC 2.8). Every thing looks file.
First it gave me access denied error. after I gave all the necessary a/c s access, That error disappeared.
Now it says OnjConn.state =0; Ideally it should be "1". Don't know what exactly casuing this issue
I have windows Xp and service pack#2. I do not want to reinstall OS, so please let me know if I am missing anything here.
