Can i use ASP on linux? or will i need to use JSP?

Experts,

I have been asked by a client to add database support to his website, to allow him to track suppliers orders etc. Initially i thought this would be nice and simple, because i have donte this a number of times using ASP / Access.

I have just noticed though, that the current hosting package he is using is setup on a linux server....
(he wont change this because he doesnt want to mess with his nice google ratings...)

Now i have had absolutely no experience of using Linux and/or JSP. My question: will i need to learn jsp before i can provide him the solution? if so is it relatively simple to learn assuming understanding of asp? where might i find an easy intro to using it?
