DateDIFF asp question?

Hello,

I wondered if anyone could advise? I am trying to write some asp to calculate the number of minutes and seconds between two times.

In the code below when DATEDIFF function is given 23:56:00 for ScanTime, and 00:04:00 for EndTime, the number of seconds returned is for a whole day from 11:56pm to the next day 12:04. Rather than 8 minutes.

This approach seems to work only if the ScanTme and EndTime are on the same day.

Could anyone possibly advise how I could calculate the minitues and seconds.
