Seperate the string then insert into the database

Hi,

I have a text field that has this data (Dimension~33, FileType~3, ProdName~4, ProdType~4 )
it is called PropertyValueandCode

I need to insert it into the database like this
Property code: Property Value:
Dimension 33
FileType 3
ProdName 4
ProdType 4

I maybe have to get the count first
countPV = Request.Form("txtPropertyCode").Count
the countPV is 4 since I will have four entries.

For iCount = 1 to countPV

ssSql=ssSql & "Insert into AssetProperty(PropertyCode,PropertyValue " _
& " values (" & ??? & ",'" & ??? & "' ) "

Next

how should I insert the values into my table and remove the (~)
