classic asp database connection error

hi there
hey i have windows 2003 server enterprise edition. i am trying to connect to an sql database within an application. I used to be able to connect to this exact database. I can connect to the server from my computer using the ms sql server management studio. I can connect to an ms-Access db locally. I just uninstalled and reinstalled the webserver on my computer and did nothing. This particular database in another location, but I try to connect to a local database within our lan and i get the same error.
