how to get an ASP application to send an email message?

Hello, friends. I'm having trouble with an ASP application. I am trying to get the application to send a simple command, via email, to a mailing list. I attach my ASP code, below. I do not get an error, and the form seems to process. However, no email message gets sent.

Any idea why this ASP application will not send mail?

Is there something I need to do in the code to specify an SMTP server? I think that might be the key. I think the ASP code is OK, but the ASP does not know how to find the SMTP server. Is there a place where I can specify an SMTP server for ASP?
