That totally worked. Thanks.
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI'm using ASP and I would like to use a variable as the name called in my statement when creating a recordset. ie.
"scorecity" is the variable and "scorehilliard" is the name of the table
Dim scorecity
scorecity = ("scorehilliard")
Dim rsscorebox
Dim rsscorebox_cmd
Dim rsscorebox_numRows
Set rsscorebox_cmd = Server.CreateObject ("ADODB.Command")
rsscorebox_cmd.ActiveConne
rsscorebox_cmd.CommandText
rsscorebox_cmd.Prepared = true
Set rsscorebox = rsscorebox_cmd.Execute
rsscorebox_numRows = 0
The above example is causing a "cannot find the input table or query 'scorecity'."
how do I make this register as a variable and not as the table name itself? Thanks.
