I come from Australia with a nice little telco called Telstra and I sent a bulk email 2000+ emails, and that temp blocked me for 2 weeks, Telnet both connections SMTP servers and the one / or ones you don't reach contact them, they can ask their NOC if anything was blocked on your account.

That means that they cannot block NO ports from you.

CANNOT block no ports either.
So.
I would contact Verizon
And check things out on their end.
The only thing that might be causing a problem, is that you are sending out a BULK mail
That might get your blocked.
Check and check everything else again.
