Question

Why do my controls ignore the z-Index value ?

Hi;

I have a web page with a dropdown, panel control, and a details view control.

When I display my panel and the details view control  the dropdown is always on top of
the detailsview field.

I tried resetting thje z_index for both controls but that didn't work.

I am I overlooking something else ?

Drop down lists have never obeyed z-index values, sorry.

Hi;

I finally solved my problem.

I was using an Ajax Calendar extender control which extended beyond to a dropdown control located just beneath it.

I simply moved the calendar control to the right of my calendar textbox.

This works great.
