How do i remove newline characters and carriage returns in classic ASP?

Hi,
I have the below code. I want to remove newline characters and carriage returns for 'bodyText' before inserting into SQL database?
Please suggest with code.

Have you looked at SubStr or Replace

Replace(myString,'/n','<br>)     -- as an example

So can i do this if i want to remove all newline characters

bodyText = Replace(bodyText, '/n', '')

Will this remove all carraige returns as well?

My advice: don't remove them. Why would you?

But if you really want:

myvar = Replace(myvar, CHR(10), "")    'CHR(10) = new line

Replace(bodyText, vbCrLf, "")
