ASP session variables

I have an IIS website which has a twin on a seperate server.  Literally a twin, just copied it from one IIS to another.  In the first display, session variables persist and everyone is happy.  Using the second IIS server to display the same website, session variables do NOT persist and no one is happy.  Any ideas?  Both servers are set in the IIS themselves to allow session variables for 20 minutes etc.
