The page is loaded in https so I assumed all the relative links would be loading in https as well (to which they all do) apart from the navigation.

Browse All TopicsWe are running AspDotNetStorefront and our navigation is not correctly chaning to have https links. The images that are used for the back of the navigation are not been shown via https. This means in ie a pop up shows saying the page is not secure.
Can anyone help us as to why the navigation is not showing up in https?
Everything else on the pages shows up fine in https.

... there must be something which is loading from outside the https... thats why you are getting this message.
check your page and any images you are loading.. whether its from the same https directory or outside.
also check relative urls... you might be using ../../image/someimage.jpg
if you cannot figure out ... then try this: right click in the browser window and cick view source.. and copy and paste that code here ... i will have a look...
When I go to the shopping cart (where this issue happens in ie) i am shown the pop-up not all items are secure if you select no do not display insecure items the navigation images disappear however nothing else changes, the navigation still works but the images behind the navigation vanish. I checked and the shoppingcart page is https as well.
try loading you images using the default https:// url
try using the full url for your images... like this and see if you still get that msg box

this is because your page is outside of the https and trying to access... that is crosssing from HTTP to HTTPS and reverse.
if you place your page under directory secure with HTTPS, this will not happen and all you images and page will load properly.
same thing will happen, if you try to load a image from http in a https page.
