The problem is that the spry widget calls an xml page. at what point do I run that string from the link above. I need the page to have been previously loaded for me already.

Converting an asp recordset for use in a spry dataset
I am trying to use a spry widget that pulls data from an xml dataset.
I'm trying to figure out how to send a request out to my database and get back a recordset from a stored procedure and use that data for the spry widget pulling from an xml page.
a. is there some way to use the spry widget with an html dataset instead of an xml dataset? that way I can pull the recordset into another file and pull an html dataset from there. or is the widget uses an xml dataset it can only be that?
OR
b. what would be the best way to take that data and somehow convert it into an xml file?
