I've created a borderless IFrame once like this:
<IFRAME NAME=main SRC="page.asp" FRAMEBORDER=0></IFRAME>

by: apprentiPosted on 2003-06-17 at 16:15:00ID: 8745019

<iframe name="main" src="page.asp" style="border:0px"></iframe>

Scrollbars may also have to be "turned off" as well though.

You may have to include the (non-CSS) frameborder='0' as suggested by seloh. I found that in this case MSIE does not play ball with margin:0px.

Hi Chiller,
for MSIE you may also need an additional <body style="border:none"> in the page inside the IFRAME.

Have fun,
CirTap

hey seloh.

thnx for ur answer. works !
+thnx 2 the others too also i already had the answer

by: ivandpPosted on 2004-11-29 at 13:18:35ID: 12700389

the border you see is actually from the contents of the iframe.  CirTap's suggestion is the proper css technique if you have access to modify the source of the iframe contents.  otherwise, FRAMEBORDER is your only option.

<IFRAME NAME=main SRC="page.asp" FRAMEBORDER= 0px></IFRAME> would also work out fine though.

by: chokkaPosted on 2010-06-15 at 09:26:42ID: 32995236

i am using the same syntax, but i have a scroll bar on the right hand side.

IFRAME NAME=main SRC="page.asp" FRAMEBORDER=0></IFRAME>

i dont want the scroll bar feature. how to remove the scroll bar.

by: selohPosted on 2010-06-16 at 06:03:52ID: 33002394

try adding
scrolling="auto"
or
scrolling="no"

auto should only make the scrollbar appear when content is larger
no should hide them altogether

by: chokkaPosted on 2010-06-16 at 07:00:32ID: 33002932

scrolling="auto"
or
scrolling="no"

It works, thanks
