I'm using the following code to attempt to change the CSS font size. But it always gives a syntax error. This is from a function in much, much larger web page. When used in the web page the error appears in the function physically previous to the function being called--which seems a little strange.
The end result is that I'd like the visitor to click a link that will change the font size. The link calls the correct function which contains the Javascript below (the snippet below produces the error.).

That fixed it. Thank you! All of my reference books showed "font-size".
By the way the element is named "label" because the web page is for the online design of industrial labels, and what is being shown on the page is actually a label. This may be the one case in which using "label" as an element name is truly descriptive of that element--which is actually a label.

do avoid giving the elemnt id name as label..give more meaningful names
