Is there any addon for IE 7 which work like Firebug or Web Developer extension in Firefox?
One of the features I need is to modify css and see the result on the spot

Firebug works for you in IE-Tab pages? I find this very surprising (how does it work?). Doesn't work for me... :/

I have been using FF and IE tab for quite a while now and it works like a charm, of course you need to have IE on the same machine since the tab call the render engine from IE to work, this attempt won't work on a Mac for example, unless you have an older version of IE, but it should work fine on all Windows stations that came with IE and had FF installed as well.

I tried DebugBar and IE web developer tools.
I am unable to see changes on the spot.

OK, if you use a different document type it should work, the thing is that you are using:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtm
IE DOM can't handle XHTML very good and that causes the page to be differente on other browers.
Try using this instead:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html
or
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html
and have a look at:
http://htmlhelp.com/tools/
http://www.utoronto.ca/web
I had this issue once and using the correct definition solved my issue and made the site look the same on most browsers.

I have spent few hours to sort it out...
HTTP Watch may be a great tool, but the free version is quite limited in what it will show you. I recommend trying MS Fiddler available at:

I'm afraid not, what you can do is get the IE engine addon for Firefox, that will allow you to display the pages in firefox just the way the would in IE and still use firebug. It works like a charm!
