The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution.   • The Feedback of the Community

Need advice on converting a Photoshop design to a HTML site

Hi everyone, I have to create a Website for a Customer of mine. Now i need some advice from some Webprogrammers on some techniques to convert my image to a basic HTML site.
Now iI've read some tutorials about CSS Sprites and Image Slicing and am not realy sure which technique would be the best one for my Solution. I think that the Slicing technique would probably the best solution for my design but well i'm open for suggestions. Give me some advice and a couple of links with good tutorials that could be of good use and maybe some tips about pitfalls that could arrise in the given technique. Tools i have access to are Dreamweaver and Photoshop. If theres more then one good answer i'll splitt the points. Thanks in advance.
