CSS Design for List with different result in Firefox and IE

Hi,
I use the following ofdance.css to design web site. But when I design the navigation menu, and find that the result in Firefox 2.0 is unexpected.  Why the background of navigation menu isn't be white? The result in IE 6.0 is expected. Could someone tell me how to modify the css? Thank you.
