sometime div overlapping will create problems like this
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsThis one is probably simple but with the struggles of ie6 this one has eluded me. I am not able to enter anything into a input type of textbox on this page from ie6. All is well in all other browsers and versions except ie6. I have tried setting the zoom to 1 to take care of any 3 pixel jogs, that fixed a bunch, but not this bug.
Anyone have any idea why this text box is basically disabled?

Alright, I took this down to the simplest form and it is still not working. Now I am wondering if it is my 'standalone' version of ie6 and not really ie6. Does anyone have a full ie6 version installed that could validate that this text box is not enterable or editable?

Since this is just a simple form with a text box I am really thinking it is my standalone version and I am hopeful, my only full version of ie6 is at the office so I can't really test it right.
Ha ha. You can't get any more of a test case than that!
Looking around for fixes.

What IE specific CSS rules or JS code have you got.
Can you strip the page down to a bare example.
Say just the form.
At what stage of adding in the CSS and JS do things start to go wrong?
