Thanks, I used text-align on the div and it worked like a charm!

Browse All TopicsI have a drop-down list implemented as a <select> control. It uses absolute position and is usually just fine. But the list items are generated dynamically and when they are long, the select stretches to accommodate them and sticks out too far to the right. I basically need to anchor the right edge of the select and let it grow/stretch back toward the left.
I can create a div to contain the select, but I'm not sure how to get the select to right-align within the container.

These all are properties for right align:
float:right;
text-align:right;
right:0;
but varied upon different situation and purpose. I hope any one from above solves your issue. maybe 2nd one...let me know.
