specify which image should preload and which not

I'm trying to set up an spry accordion on my html page. There will be alot of images on hidden panels as the page loads
the first visible panel that the user sees we will have an flv playing.

 I want that flv video to load in complete first with a few background images, and then only after the rest of the images on the page should preload?

You need a JS script.

If I use preloader what does the end user see first? do they need for everything to preload before they view the page, or can they view the first preloaded image as the rest are preloading?

Normally in the order in which they appear but it may also depend on the sizes of the images.

The visitor does nothing....   And all looks normal.

THe preloader I recomended will add any files you choose in any order at any time.

If I have a hidden div, does it load the images at page load time or only after the div becomes visible?
