Question

SQL Access select records greater than today's date.

Hello,

I need to select a number of records using a query. The records have to have an eventDate that is greater than today's date to be selected.

How do I do a query that will do that? I have tried the attached snippet but it doesn't seem to work? The code in the snippet, selects dates that are older than today's date as well as ones that are newer than it.

Any ideas?

You shoudl use

SELECT *
FROM events
WHERE eventDate > GetDate()
ORDER BY eventDate DESC

then you are using the SQL (not CF) today's date function (getDate() ) and the query performs faster
