Programmatically setting a sessiontimeout value using coldfusion 5

Hi,

I am currently enchancing an existing web app using coldfusion 5 running on solaris. My web app has a function which allows the admin users to update and change the timeout value for the whole web app. I know the timeout value is currently set in Application.cfm, sessiontimeout. Does anyone knows how to change the sessiontimeout value anywhere, as and when required, in the web app other than the Application.cfm? Greatly appreciate any advice given :)

It has to happen in applicaiton.cf* but you can change it

not exactly what you are trying to do but it does show you a method using URL vars ... you could also pass your timeout vars

Thanks for the solution, i found this page too, but i dint do as instructed in Application.cfm, rather i placed the "cfset sessiontimeout" in my webpage that changesd the timeout value. It doesnt work. Will follow to place it in Application.cfm and giv it a try today :)
