Upload files and error check in coldfusion

Hello experts.
I have a page where i'm uploading files and check if they are images and the filesize.
After the upload i reload the page and get there the uploaded images.The problem i have is that when i'm using the <cflocation> tag after the query the upload function works fine but the error handling does not work.
How can i fix this problem
