How to protect downloadable files so that only logged in users and download them

Asked by bigmikey88 in Cold Fusion Markup Language

I'm running Cold Fusion MX.

On this site, users buy a downloadable file.

How can I make sure a user is logged in to retrieve the file?

I don't want user to be able to copy a URL to one of these files and then give it to friends.

The solution must require the user is logged in.

thx
