ColdFusion 8 Linux, Running scripts from command line

Is it possible to run cfm scripts from the linux command line without having to access the script through a web browser? If so, how can this be accomplished?

I believe you can do this with wget:

wget http://whateversite/whateverfile.cfm

That should do it.

Thanks, that will work. Any thoughts on the best way to surpress the output file? Many of the scripts do not require the file to be saved.

You're welcome!  

wget -q htp://whateversite/whateverfile.cfm

-q is the 'quiet' option.  There are several others.  I think you can just do wget and hit enter and you will see all the options, although it might be wget -help to see all the options, but that is probably all you need.
