CFIF required to ensure only one image is displayed

Hi all i'm using this SQL to to query the db to show me all products from a particular category.

the problem is that each image has four images and i only want to display one (the thumbnail).

i guess this can be done by one of two ways. either edit the SQL or have a CFIF ont he page where the data/image is displayed to say only show 1. neither of which i am able to do myself hence this post.

the SQL is:
