Conditinal Processing of a form

How can i have a query only excute if a user clicks a certain submit bottom ? I have forms which
have a data entrybox and a serch bottom and only if the user submits that bottom i would like to
run my query with ASP.Net it is quite simple to determine what action or code to run but not sure if
i can do that in coldfusion.Start Free Trial
