With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

The Feedback of the Community

submitting a cfform with .submit() javascript function

I am converting an existing fusebox based app to be 'ajax' capable and to start taking advantage of many of CF8s nice new features.

I have changed a traditional <form to <cfform.

The current form is being submitted with javascript .submit() funciton (code below).

But I am getting the following error: "Action_Form.submit is not a function". I can't understand why this would no longer be working.

Have tried all sorts of things but can't make any headway.

Appreciate any pointers.
