Browse All TopicsDoes anyone know why the code below would return 5 or 6 for its value when LastContacted is 10/21/2009. I only want it to return 5 because there are 5 days in between today and that date.
Any direction you can provide would be appreciated.

Because we want to convert the result of dateFormat to a literal string so that dateDiff doesn't view it as a data type date
In essence, we are passing the string "10/27/2009" to the function

I made the assumption that lastContactDate had a time element included in the date which was preventing a full 6 day difference between the two date values (for example it was 5 days and 20 hours)
I thought dateDiff('d', would handle this.. I guess I should just test it..

ok...I was made to understand that lastContactDate may be a timestamp so it tends to depend on the time the query is run. Exactly how do i get around this?
