With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. Fading image transition Javascript -- need small modification

Hi,

I found a javascript code that will do a fading transition from one image to the next on dynamicdrive.com.  This is a great piece of code, however, I would like to alter it slightly so that it starts with a normal image first (not fading), then fade images after that.

I've attached the code.

Please help, and please let me know what modification you suggest so i can learn.
