Floating box that search engines can read

I want to create a dynamic web page with a list of products. To the right of the list, I would like to create a "floating" box that will display item details. I found an example of this type of floating box at http://www.jtricks.com/javascript/navigation/floating.html I'm pasting their code below for reference but viewing this link would show you the floating box in an example on that page.

However, it is EXTREMEMLY important that the search engines can read the text that goes inside this floating box. Is that possible?
