Create flex application from database: new filters?

When creating an application from the "Create application from database" wizard in Flex 3, only one column of data is searchable.

I want to search several columns and would REALLY like to search multiple columns of data in the three (3) tables which comprise the database.

Also, I would like to be able to search not just text, but also numbers.

I include the code and changes to the PHP code from the file created by Flex during the use of the wizard ("Forums.php").

Can anyone point me in the direction of how to add filters to the file created when using the Flex "Create application from database" wizard?
