ryancys is correct you can't do this from scripting.
My understanding is that browser Print functionality is heavily guarded for security reasons. Imagine for a second that some nasty coder wrote a virus to fire off spurious print jobs all over the world....that waste of paper and ink cartridges would be obscene.
Likewise, how can you as a developer even know that your client
1. has a printer attached to their PC
2. whether the printer is turned on
3. whether it has paper and ink in it?

You can't do it from scripting, it's most probably more like a browser setting in my point of view.
