Hey rick10... This is a duplicate question..You may want to delete the previous Image Src question before anyone posts a comment to it, otherwise it's a little harder to delete. Just leave this question open until it is answered, although I believe RobotMan answered it correctly. :)

Cheers...

Do what RobotMan says.

The Border property allows you to create a border to surroder your inline images. The synthx for changing the border width is:

<IMG SRC="your image" BORDER=value>

where value is the width of the border in pixels.

You want it without a border, just use a border width of 0 pixels.

<IMG SRC="your image" BORDER=0>

Or if you mean the other one border in IE (when you use the link stuff) then use

<a href="..." onfocus="this.blur()"><img...></a>

the reason why I did not say to put the "border=0" inside the img tag is because it could need to go in several places.  Obviously, it needs to go inside the img tag.  However, the frame may be generated by the frameset and may be a border around the frame - thus, it will need to be put in the frameset of ALL the frames.  Moreover, it could be something "unrelated" - maybe the image is inside a table and thus the table would need to have border set to zero.  If the code were posted, I would have given an answer, not a comment.

P.S.  I agree w/ CJ_S and his last comment.

i'm not sure if you have this question answered already since it's a duplicate... but if the border comes from the frames... put frameborder="0" in the frameset tag so it looks something similar to:

<frameset cols="198,*" framespacing="0" frameborder="0">

if it comes from a table... put border="0" in the table tag...

<table border="0">

if it comes from the image, put border="0" in the img tag...

<img src="abc.gif" border="0">

hope this helps

Hello everyone,

rick10 - just be careful not to use your browser's Refresh button while at the site. There is a 'Reload Page' link at the top and bottom of every question to help prevent this problem.

Also, be careful not to hit the submit button more than once, which can also cause this problem.

Sort of a quandry with the two questions both having valid answers from two different Experts. I am going to credit rick10's account with the points for this question and accept one of RobotMan's comment as an answer.

For the Experts that posted after the comment that identified this question as a duplicate...

Keep in mind that if you continue to work on a question that has been identified as a duplicate post, you will probably not be awarded points. I just want to make that plain and clear so that in the future there are no hard feelings over it. It is up to you, as an Expert, to carefully read all previous posts before making your own post to the thread (which would reveal that the question is a duplicate in this particular case).

RobotMan had posted his response before the post from CJ_S.
