Hi!
It depends on what form of animation you want to put.
You'll normally use the <IMG> tag to put animated gif.
You'll use <OBJECT> if you want to put Flash animations.
Of course this assumes that you already have the Flash or the Animated Gif created and ready to put in your webpage.
