The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

embedd blog html page in Main HTML page

Asked by Thirt in Hypertext Markup Language (HTML)

I'm new with HTML and tried searching for Embedded pages, but didn't find what I was looking for. I'm sure this has been posted serveral times over and I'm just not using the right verbage, so pls forgive.

I have inherited a web site that I need to maintain for a client. They are wanting a news and FAQ page and I can see them making change requests every other day. So I suggested that they maintain the FAQ and News pages with Blogger.  That way, they can go nuts and make as many entries and changes as their heart pleases, and all I have to figure out is how to embedd these blog pages into their existing site.

As it stands now, I pickted a template that blogger uses to create the NEWS and FAQ pages. These pages do not look anything like the main theme of the web site, but it doesn't upset the client that much.  Right now I just have a link on their main page to these blog pages.

But I would like to edit the blog template so that is just produces a very plain Jane HTML page. And now I take the standard web page template used by the web site, create a new page, and embedd the blog HTML page. So as time goes on, the user just updates the blog and it's reflected on the web site.

Any suggestions?  Thanks!!!Start Free Trial
