Browse All TopicsI have a select box that shows some pretty ambiguous names for users who aren't familiar yet with the new layout on a page. I'd like to know if there is a way to see a kind of 'title' when i mouseover the different items on the list.
ie:
Item "Trans1" would have mouseover of "Transporter for Region 1"
Item "Trans2" would have mouseover of "Transporter for Region 2, sub Region 3"
etc.
Is this possible? If not is there another way to do something similar to this?

Tool tip text for the <option> be easily created by adding a title= parameter to the object in your page.
like below,
<select name="select" id="mypage">
<option value="link1" SELECTED" title="this is Link1">link1</option>
<option value="link2" title="this is Link2">link2</option>
<option value="link3" title="this is Link3">link3</option>
<option value="link4" title="this is Link4">link4</option>
</select>
