The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

How to wrap text on the left and right of an image in the center of the webpage using css?

Asked by jrwalker2 in Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)

Tags: text, around, css, how, image

I am creating a webpage and I want to put an image in the center of the page (center, center). Then I want to have text directly left of the image. I also want text directly to the right of the image. Below is the css and html that I have so far. Please help me with this code. Thanks

My Questions
----------------
1. The text does not show up in the correct locations. "Text1" appears in the top, left of the page and "Text2" shows up in the bottom, left of the webpage. How can I get "Text1" to the left of the image and "Text2" to the right of the image?

2. My background does not span the entire webpage. There's a white outline/border around the background that is not part of the background. How can I fix this?

3. General Question: If I have a background that I want to cover the entire background, how do I use css to make sure that the background shows up on the entire page. Thus far, I have noticed that the background only shows up if I have content (<p>, <h1>, etc) enough for the background to show up. Isn't there a way to have the entire webpage contain a visible background without having any content (Note: I want the background to be an image, not just a color)?
