SWF not working on IIS 6 page

I have an html page with a swf movie that should play, but is not.

When I access the page locally (through a mapped drive) all works fine. From the website, it brings up the shockwave controls and the title card but will not play.

I have IIS 6 running, and I believe I have added the MIME extensions for both:

.flv video/x-flv
.swf  application/x-shockwave-flash

The swf file was created using Camtasia Studios, and as I said, works fine when accessing locally.

This page found an issue with the folder that the files were in ... http://forums.iis.net/t/1149660.aspx
Try placing the files in a different folder and accessing them from there and see if it works.

Since the browser is displaying a status of "Waiting for www.scld.org" this might indicate that it cannot load the file to send to the browser.

Thanks for pointing to that site, but alas it was not my issue.

I was however able to fix it. The .swf was attempting to open an .mp4 file and that had not been added as a MIME type. Once I did that:

.mp4 audio/mpeg

it worked like a charm!
