Oops apologize @ChristoferDutz: just a same time post.
I have to admit that I was pretty surpized about my second look of the raphaeljs lib ... it does include a Pie-Chart and having a look at the html-code ... using it seems ultra-easy.

Just had a look at plotkit and it only draws the graph background ... no data is shown (With IE8) ... I agree with the Flex charting. This is simply great and is the component I use in most of my projects, but the question was "HTML & JavaScript"

What system are you using ? What language do you have running with it ?
I use PHP on most of my servers. If you add on ImageMagik there are nice libraries where you can generate pie charts and they become .gif type graphics that can then be opened in the html page.
